Last year, the “Gone in 60 Seconds” hero car was auctioned off for a cool $1 million, making it one of the most expensive Mustangs ever sold. The one you’re about to see below is not the same car Nicholas Cage drove in the movie, but it’s equally impressive. In fact, it looks pretty much the same save for a few minor details.
In case you’re not familiar with the car, the Eleanor was penned by well-known hot rod designer Steve Stanford and put together by Cinema Vehicle Services, who used fiberglass body elements, a lowered suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes, new rims and Goodyear Eagle F1 tires.
A Go-Baby-Go shift knob and a nitrous injection system were enough to turn this vehicle into one of the most iconic Mustang ever built.
