Like it or not, the Chevrolet C10 is the king of the custom truck market. We doubt anybody did the math on this, but a quick search on the Internet reveals to everyone willing to look a flood of customized half-ton bowtie trucks, clearly more numerous than any other nameplate out there.
We’re not sure what makes C10s such hits on the custom market, but here they are, each shinier than the next one, each more unique, each more alluring.

As part of autoevolution’s Celebration Month we’ve talked aplenty about pickup trucks in general and the C10 in particular. Obviously, we’re not nearly done, as more and more of them keep showing up across the web, looking for new owners.

The latest C10 in our journey back to the beginnings of the C/K family is the Pearl Copper-painted example featured here. The result of what it described as "a detailed, ground-up restoration” conducted not long ago, it just entered the lot of RK Motors. Obviously, the plan is not to keep it there, but find an owner willing to pay $59,900 for it.

Similar in terms of looks with a Burnt Orange Metallic example we showed back in August (that one was listed for $36,995), the machine was built with the Copperhead serving as an inspiration of sorts. For those of you who don’t know it already, the Copperhead is a 1967 C/K built by tuner and TV host Stacey David.

Riding on 17-inch American Racing wheels and sporting about the same exterior color as the Copperhead (over a black and white Ultraleather interior), the build is animated by a 350-ci (5.7-liter) V8 of Chevrolet make, tied to a 3-speed automatic transmission.

As said, this C10 is for sale, and it goes for $59,900. It may not be a one-on-one copy of the truck that served as inspiration, but it would certainly turn many heads once on the road.
