Meet Irv Gordon, a 73-year-old retired science teacher from Patchogue, New York. He loves his 1966 Volvo P1800 so much he used it to travel all across America and has racked up almost 3 million miles ( about 4,800,000 kilometers) in 47 years of driving.
"I challenge everyone to go out and see as much as possible. Find your own journey and reason to believe because you only have one life to live. No matter how many roads I've been on, there's always one I haven't taken. That's what makes it exciting," Gordon says.

Of course, the story comes from Volvo, so they sneak in a publicity, but it's still amazing to think somebody has traveled 12 times the distance to the moon or 120 times around the earth in a car from the 60s.

Up until 1969, the P1800 came with a 1.8-liter engine producing about 100 horsepower.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
