1963 Turbo Wagon Is One Fast Grocery Getter

How fast can you drive to the grocery store and back? Depends on traffic and what care you have, but the altered Turbo Wagon you’re about to see in the video below will get you to your destination in low 8s if the supermarket would be located at the end of a quarter mile drag strip.
Owned by Shawn Finks, this crazy dragster is actually a 1963 Chevrolet Nova Wagon that’s been fitted with a huge 106 mm turbocharger that probably eats big birds for breakfast. Other track-prepped features, a set of proper wheels and a parachute make it an awesome quarter mile machine that can run low 8-second 402s and spectacular wheel stands.

Unfortunately, there's no info on what's powering the beast or how many horses are struggling under that hood, but we bet it goes up to 1,000 HP territory. Check it out for yourself in the video below.
