A recent episode of Jay Leno's Garage shows one of the coolest and strangest cars we've ever seen.
Round about the same time as the second generation Corvette, the Sting Ray, another company created a fiberglass car named after an underwater creature. This is the El Tiburon Shark from 1962. Only six of them were made based on Renault engines.

"El Tiburon" actually means '"the shark" in Spanish and this is probably why this streamlined machine looks like a Great White. This one is based on a 4CV and had about 40 horsepower to its name.

In this video, Geoff Hacker from Forgotten Fiberglass talks about the unique car he has owned for 32 years and is almost finished restoring.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
