1959 Classic Mini Up for 2013 UK's Classic Car of the Year Award

Started back in 2010, the UK Classic Car of the Year Award is handed out every year in collaboration with Lancaster Insurance, to the car chosen by the public from a list of 30 classic cars.

This year, the top 30 cars that are being put up for voting are mostly from the 50s and 60s and include the 1959 Austin Mini, the car that started the Mini madness around the world, a madness continued to this day under BMW ownership.

Alongside the Mini you'll find much more expensive and powerful cars like the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, Aston Martin DB6 and Lamborghini Countach, cars that actually wrote history in their days.

All you need to do to vote for the Mini is go to www.ccoty.co.uk and place your vote. Winners will be announced on September 27th so you'd better hurry up!
