Created by Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Boano on a Lincoln chassis, the spectacular Lincoln Indianapolis Exclusive Study was never intended to reach production, but is regarded as one of “the most audacious examples of custom coachwork ever crafted on a Lincoln chassis”.

Painted in a bright orange that just screams for your attention, the Indianapolis concept is powered by a 200 HP V8 engine and sports a futuristic two-door body that probably made the gorgeous Ford Thunderbird look rather old back in 1955.

The 58-year-old vehicle has been completely restored and RM Auctions predicts it will attract strong interest from automobile and art collectors alike. That being said, we’re anxious to find out the amount of cash its next owner will pay for it.
