Mecum Auctions introduces the MidAmerica Motorcycles 23rd Annual Las Vegas Antique Motorcycle Auction & Races, a great opportunity to get your hands on rare antique and classic motorcycles.
One of the most exclusive lots in the auction is an 1911 Harley-Davidson 7D Twin (pictured above), one of four complete first-year machines known to exist, serial #1910A, built in late 1911, with a next-year-model (1912) type front fender, introduced in the Autumn of 1911. It will also be accompanied by many other amazing pieces of motorcycle history from both shores of the Atlantic.

Mecum also brings an 1949 Harley-Davidson EL Twin, an 1913 Jefferson Twin, an 1927 Grindlay-Peerless JAP Single, or an 1958 BSA A10 Spitfire Scrambler.

The auction will also benefit from the presence of Special Guests of Honor, Jean Davidson and Jon Davidson Oeflein, Harley-Davidson family historians. Jean is the granddaughter of Walter Davidson, one of the four founders, and the first president of Harley-Davidson.

Attendants can choose from no less than 600 vintage and collectible motorcycles, Thursday, January 9 through Saturday, January 11. Please check with Mecum Auctions for more details on this huge sale.
