1600 HP Lamborghini Aventador Parked on Crosswalk Gets Impounded in Saint-Tropez

London isn’t the only city fighting against the aggressive supercar drivers whose machines occupy the area during the summer. The latest example of another city that does the same, albeit in a more decent fashion, comes from the French Riviera.

As you can see in the adjacent images, which comes from Autogespot, this custom Lamborghini Aventador was parked on a crosswalk, with the Russian-plates car defying pedestrians in Saint-Tropez.

We know from similar cases in the past that the police on the French Riviera isn’t exactly unfamiliar with impounding ilegally-parked Raging Bulls, so the Aventador was treated with a short aerial journey to the platform of a truck.

Due to the ignorant driver, this was a waste of the car’s astounding 1,600 horses. Yes, we are talking about a heavily modified Aventador coming from Mansory. Dubbed Aventador LP1600-4 Carbonado GT, with the bi-turbo job being just a part of its bold tuning moves.

The Lamborghini’s body features a complete carbon construction, with this including plenty of new styling elements. The list includes the front and rear aprons, beefier fenders, as well as every tuner’s obsession (when it comes to the Aventador), a generously-sized rear wing at the back.

When the car returns to the road, it will be able to thrill its drive with the motorcycle-worhty 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint time of 2.1 seconds, while the police shouldn’t bee too happy with its 230 mph (370 km/h) top speed.

Mansory never made the Carbonado GT’s pricing public, but we wouldn’t be too surprised if the thing weighed EUR 1 million ($1,32 million). Alas, this makes the fine a rather unimportant matter.
