1,557 HP Edelbrock 548 CI Engine Rocks the Dyno

In today’s insanely-powered engines news, we present you a 548 cubic inch (9.0-liter) Chevrolet engine that pulls 1,557 horsepower and 1,158 pound-feet of torque on the dyno at Vrbancic Brothers Racing.
If you’re wondering where all that power comes from, the block was fitted with Edelbrock 24-degree CNC cylinder heads, an Edelbrock Super Victor II CNC manifold, a Carb Shop billet carburetor and an F2 non intercooled ProCharger.

As you might have already guessed, the video below is all about whistling and whining, so you’d better be careful with that volume switch. There’s a bit of info you might find interesting in the beginning, as well as a complete dyno sheet at the end.
