Modern cars appear to have limitless traction and infinite grip, but once they do let go, chaos can occur. Just check out this amazingly close call, where a twin-turbo C6 Corvette nearly wipes out two Nissan GT-R that were accompanying it on a nightly drive.
Luckily, this incident only ends with puckered cheeks and a cool video to watch, but the crash could have been fatal and may have otherwise resulted in "Police are looking to arrest illegal street racers in Texas" type of news.

The Nasty D3 Performance Corvette was just recently completed and its owner decided to take to the streets, with the drag-racing parachute still attached to the back we might add. It's never a good idea to take a drag racer on the streets, as the Chevy drifts uncontrollably across 3 lanes and almost smashes against a concrete barrier. But the need to be the fastest is strong with this 'Vette owner.

Thanks to Plotkin Photography, we can show you some of the first photos of this Texas speed machine. The engine bay is positively packed with those extra-large 88-millimeter turbochargers that required holes to be cut in the hood in order to fit.

Somehow, even though it only has 900 horsepower, we'd rather drive the GT-R. Yeah, the Corvette might be faster and more fun, but driving that thing down the street is like riding a lion – it's fast, but you just don't know when it might kill you.
