13-Year-Old Boy Drives Dad’s Mercedes from Italy to Poland, Almost

Sometimes, it takes the uncluttered thinking of a child to set things straight, and while from the outside it may not seem that way - whatever internal conflicts may have arisen, they are quickly put out with sheer determination. This is the story of a 13-year-old boy, living in the small Italian town of Montebelluna, located in the north of the country.

The boy lives there with his adoptive Italian parents, and is originally from Poland.

Apparently, after an argument with his parents, regarding a mobile phone subscription payment, the boy nabbed the keys for his dad’s Mercedes-Benz of an unspecified mode, and took off. He drove past two borders, filled the car up twice, in the end, managed to get through Austria, and then into Germany, before finally being stopped by the police.
The boy was apparently a keen car enthusiast and go-kart racer, so the task of driving was not a chore for him.

Proof of this is the fact that it was not his driving which eventually got him caught. It was, in fact, the tracking device the car was carrying around, which allowed the authorities to track and then stop the car.

If you were wondering why the boy was so motivated to get to Poland, the reason behind it was him seeing his biological sister, whom he deeply missed - his actions clearly prove that, and while we do not condone such acts, you have to admit they are the kind of stories you want to hear (heart-warming and with a positive ending.
