Ten years and two generations have passed since VW realized it can sell a mid-size premium SUV and launched the Toureg. The model has blitzed the dakar, raced on ice and touched just about every corner of the globe.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the SUV, the German automaker is launching the Touareg Special Edition X (like the Evo X, meaning the tenth in Roman numerals).
The body is done in Moonlight Blue Pearl Effect and the X comes standard with 19-inch 'Moab' alloy wheels. Also offered for the hardcore Touareg fans is a plenty of chrome trim, tinted windows, bi-xenon headlights with LED DTRs.
Inside, a panoramic sunroof is offered as standard, while the cabin is covered in Amber Brown Nappa leather trim with braid finish.
The Special Edition is basically a package offered with five engine and transmission combos, starting with the base TDI V6 and an 8-speed automatic costing €61,025. Right now, only European availability has been announced!
