To mark a decade of making electric motorcycles, Zero decided to deliver a spiced-up version of their dual-sport DSR machine, now offered with an exclusive, anniversary paint, special graphics, and more details to make it stands from the crowd.

Only 50 10th Anniversary Zero DSR motorcycle will be manufactured, so if you plan to get one, maybe it's not already too late to book at a Zero dealer. The bikes will be crafted in Santa Cruz, California, and will be easily recognizable thanks to their high gloss, metallic black paint that's never been used on a Zero until now.

A distinctive anniversary badge will also testify the exclusive character of these bikes, alongside the unique number of each machine in the 50-unit series. Also, the anniversary DSR comes with factory-installed fast-charging and Charge Tank, allowing riders to use Level 2 public charging for quicker stops in their rides.

A dual-sport windscreen and hand guards are also part of the standard equipment, as well as a Givi rear rack that accommodates an optional top case. Red rim stripes and gel dome stickers complement the particular attire of the 10th Anniversary DSR.

The limited run machine can be ordered for $18,995, and this price doesn't include government incentives or other delivery, registration, or road-related taxes.

If you're not into special edition bikes or are eyeing a different model, Zero Motorcycles is also offering you anniversary treats in the shape of discounts. If you buy a Zero S, Zero SR, Zero DS or Zero DSR, you'll get $1,000 off the base price whereas FX and FXS bikes come wth a $650 discount.

"We’ll also cover the costs of all the clutches, oil filters, spark plugs and oil changes for your new Zero over its entire life," Zero adds. Obviously, there are no such parts to be replaced on an electric bike, but this marketing idea sounds funny.
