Rarely do we get to write heart warming stories like this, but when we do get a change to, we really appreciate it. It proves that age is completely irrelevant and people don’t have to be old-fashioned, despite having been on this planet for over a century!
Some people are mentally old, even before they are physically old. However, this is not the case with Edward Heine, now 101 years-old, who, despite having stopped driving 3 years ago, has decided to ‘get something nice for his wife’. However, it’s not the usual piece of jewelry, but a brand-new Chevrolet Volt, which is frankly far more useful.

Heine, a war veteran and a consultant afterward, bought the car for his wife, Hya, because it was the car that she wanted. Surprisingly for somebody who is 85 years old, Hya is very open minded, saying “if you’re going to live, you should be up to date, and try to be technologically intelligent [. . .] We both came to the conclusion that the next car should be environmentally friendly, and that’s why we did it” - people of the world, take note!
