The ‘Vette you see here hides quite some muscle under the Blue Chrome wrap, as we are talking about a Late Model Racecraft build.
While LMR does go with the traditional supercharger up to its 800 hp package, if you want things to become more serious than that, you’ll have to go down the twin-turbo road.
They offer such packages for 800 hp and 1,250 hp kits, but rumor has it the C7 you see here packs 1,000 hp. Perhaps the owner was happy with the big-muscle pack, but wanted a bit of extra drivability, deciding to dial down the boost.
Nevertheless, as you can see in the video, this is the kind of calculated burnout, where the driver doesn’t fully tap into the car’s potential. Then again, with 1,000 ponies on tap, it’s easy to understand why you have to plan your burnouts.
As for the violent soundtrack of the clip, the melange of twin-turbo V8 grown and tire torture is on the house.
