Here’s something you don’t see every day while driving around in Los Angeles: a 1,000 horsepower Chevrolet C10 pickup truck street-racing a 700 horsepower Ford Mustang.
The footage comes from the folks over at 1320video, who traveled to Las Angeles to check out the metropolis’ street racing scene. They stumbled across this crazy face-off between a classic Chevrolet C10 with a 572 cubic inch crate motor and nitrous and a F1-X procharged Ford Mustang.
The truck is obviously the faster vehicle in this battle, but it’s no easy ride, as it loses traction at some point and almost hits the Mustang. Fortunately enough, the driver avoids the crash and continues the race, overtaking the musclecar with ease. Scroll below to watch the video and remember not to try this on public roads.
