By now, both Hellcat and Demon owners have had enough time to showcase the potential of their machines. Nevertheless, with the aftermarket side of the industry constantly raising the bar, the clashes between the two Dodge monsters are getting fiercer and fiercer.
We are now here to deliver a splendid example of such a war, one that involves a Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and a Charger SRT Hellcat.

In case anybody is worried about the four-door not being able to keep with the (now retired) SRT halo car, you should know that the super-sedan has been heavily modded.

The 6.2-liter HEMI of the thing now sips on E85, while also featuring a pulley upgraded and a decatted exhaust, among others. As for the result of all the work, the V8 now delivered north of a thousand ponies, so the number we dropped in the title above is a conservative one.

As for the Challenger, this comes in factory stock trim, albeit packing the goodies from the Demon crate. We're referring to the 840 hp race gas ECU and the skinny front tires.

And the adventure involving the two is more than the usual drag race. And that's because the aficionados behind the wheel raced on more than one occasion, meaning we'll get to see a Mopar-mance here. Fortunately, the drivers took the thing to the track, thus keeping it on the safe side and enjoying the prepped surface of the drag strip.

Expect to see a lot of tire abuse, which is only normal when you're talking about a pair of machines with a combined output of about 2,000 hp.

This piece of footage we have here comes from YouTuber Demonology, who loves his edition. This time around, his adventure is all about Rocky Balboa, but some of you might be willing to look past such YT shenanigans. As such, you can skip straight to the 2:17 point of the clip for the racing action.
