BMW has finally announced the allocation of M3 Frozen Silver Edition coupes for Britain: 100 cars priced at £58,720.
This is likely to be the last edition you will ever see of the current M3, as production of the E92 chassis should stop at the end of the year. So, what has BMW prepared for the goodbye party?
Well, it does nothing for the engine, because BMW never got round to offering more power for the M3 since it was launched in 2007. But, you get tons of equipment, which BMW says is worth nearly £9,000, but only adds £4,000 to the cost of the car.
This includes the Frozen Silver paint itself, which isn’t available on any other BMW, matt black alloy wheels, Dark Chrome exhaust, side gills and kidney surrounds, and Jet Black bonnet intakes.
Inside, you have Black Novillo leather with contrast stitching and Palladium leather armrests and inserts. To complete the sporting look, you get carbon fiber for the dash and a steering wheel wrapped in sporty Alcantara.
