Skoda has revealed their popular SUV some time ago, and while the practicality of this Tiguan-sized soft-roader has not diminished, the looks have become a bit dated. Now the Czech automaker has begun testing of a facelifted version, which will make use of the new grille design first seen on the Citigo.

A new badge with only chrome details will sit at the top of an angular, more masculine grille. The bottom of this will be highlighted by a chrome strip, following the new design that will also be introduced to the Rapid.

At the back, both the light graphics and the lower bumper have been changed, while the interior will also be lightly refreshed.

As new engines have been introduced by VW Group with the arrival of the MQB platform, we can expect the Yeti to become more efficient as well.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
