With the introduction of the Tiger XC, Triumph has taken an adventure bike to the next level of off-road riding, so it would seem only natural that they take the same adventure bike and bring it to the next level of on-road cruising. This is exactly what happened in the 2015 MY Triumph Tiger 800 XR. It has standard state-of-the-art technologies, such as ABS, traction control and ride-by-wire, each with different settings to choose from, which allow the rider to spend more time behind the bars.
On the tech/engine side, it sports the same liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 799cc three-cylinder engine, but tweaked for better gas mileage, and with the addition of the ride-by-wire, better throttle response.
