The 2005 Tiger gets a lot of revisions aimed at making rides smoother and more comfortable, as well as adding a tidier look at the engine. Thins means a new cylinder head and crankcases with revised cooling routing, a backlash eliminator gear for reduced noise and vibration.

At the same time, the 2005 Triumph got new gear change internals for smoother shifting and better resistance to abuse. A do-it-all motorcycle, the 2005 Tiger can also be loaded for longer adventures and performs equally well with one or two people aboard.
