The Factory R comes equipped with a 294cc engine, which is quite large for a 2-stroke motor. Its seat measures 25.79 inches off the ground, low enough to make it usable by younger riders. The 0.69 gallon fuel tank is an average size in this class, allowing the Factory R to last as long as its closest competition.

The 2013 Factory 125 is powered by a 125cc, 2-Stroke, liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine. With a cylinder bore of 2.13 in and stroke of 2.15 in, its motor is undersquare, meaning that the cylinder stroke (length) is greater than the bore (width). This makes the engine less powerful than one of similar displacement with a bigger bore, but it does allow for higher torque at low engine speeds. The engine is supported by electronic fuel injection which ensures smooth and timely fuel delivery. Electronic ignition makes starting your bike a breeze and ensures a consistent throttle response.
