The 2006 MY MZ 1000 SF Special is a limited edition machine, and has been produced in only 25 units. It boasts a special paint scheme and blacked-out components, as well as all the features found on the base model, such as the Marzocchi upside-down fork, the Sachs adjustable monoshock, the dual Nissin brake discs in the front, or the small, nose-fairing.

In the tech/engine department, it sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 999cc, parallel twin cylinder powerhouse mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and can reach a maximum power output of 117 horsepower and 98 Nm of torque.

The 2006 MY MZ 1000 ST has been designed by the German engineers for the adrenaline junkies among MZ fans, but who still want to spend more time in the saddle, and tackle longer hauls. It come standard withe a rear trunk, side panniers, a more comfortable riding position, and improved ergonomics, to maximize the riding pleasure of the rider.

This liter-class naked machine boasts a gritty overall performance, as well as superior maneuverability, thanks to the fully-adjustable Marzocchi upside-down front fork and the Sachs monoshock in the rear. Safety and improved performance is ensured by the Nissin braking system with dual 320mm discs in the front with 4-piston calipers, while a wide and comfortable seat ensures the rider can spend more time behind the bars.

This machine also boasts race-derived features such as the Marzocchi upside-down telescopic fork, the Sachs adjustable monoshock in the rear, dual 320mm front disc brakes with 4-piston Brembo calipers, and an Electronic Fuel Injection system.
