The 2013 MY MV Agusta Brutale 1090 R is the middle sibling among the 1090 series, and it can be used either as a road bike, or as a fast naked that can even be taken to the race track. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 1078cc, in-line four cylinder powerplant paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce 144 horsepower and 112 Nm of torque.

As all the 1090 models, it comes standard with traction control that can be adjusted by eight levels, the Marzocchi 50 mm inverted front fork and the Sachs rear monoshock. Unlike its previous embodiments, the 2013 MY comes with radial calipers on the front brake, which offer a plus on the safety side of things.
