The amazing Munch Mammoth created by the German engineer Friedel Munch is a very rare "production" motorcycle, based on an automotive double-overhead cam inline four cylinder. Earlier Munch motorcycles were powered by an air-cooled, 1000cc four-cylinder car engine. By the 1990s Friedel had built over five hundred of these bikes, some of them having the capacity of the engine of up to 1996cc. Munch Mammuth 2000 is the latest machine from this company.
