MOTO GUZZI Griso 1200 8V SE (2013-2014) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2013, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V SE, a special edition machine of the base model and one of the most unique and captivating machines produced by the House of Mandello del Lario.

The bike was painted in a Black Devil color scheme with silver touches, complemented by black-finished elements, like the frame, wheels, steering plates, handlebar, and instrument panel covers.

Besides its details, making it a genuine special edition motorcycle, it was fitted with attractive wire-spoke wheels, blacked-out rims, and a red Moto Guzzi logo borrowed from the new California 1400 Custom model.

The braking system fitted on its wire-spoke wheels comprised two 320 mm discs paired to four-piston calipers on the front and a single 282 mm disc squeezed by a dual-piston caliper, delivering excellent stopping performance.

It was built around a high-tensile twin-cradle tubular steel frame married to a 43 mm fully adjustable upside-down fork on the front and a fully adjustable monoshock absorber on the rear, providing excellent suspension performance and handling.

In the performance department, the 2013 Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V SE wore the same 1,151cc four-stroke air-cooled V-twin engine as previous models, delivering an output power of 110 hp with maximum strength at 7,500 rpm and 108 Nm (80 lb-ft) torque at 6,400 rpm.
