MOTO GUZZI Griso 1100 (2005-2006) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Moto Guzzi Griso was a naked road motorcycle manufactured by Moto Guzzi between 2005 and 2016 in three different engine sizes. The 1100 was presented in August 2005, the 850 in April 2006, and the 1200 8V in November 2006 and sold since September 2007.

The Griso prototype was presented for the first time in 2002 at the Intermot Show in Munich under the Tecnocustom designation. Its design was realized by Rodolfo Frascoli from Marabese Design.

In 2005, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Moto Guzzi 1100, a power cruiser motorcycle aimed to please riders who liked spending time on a good-looking machine but were not ready to settle for a lazy one.

The bike had standard features in the aesthetic department, such as a round headlight with a chromed housing, a two-piece dual seat, a dual exhaust system with a two-into-one system mounted on the left side, and lightweight three-spoke aluminum wheels.

The bike was produced around a detachable tubular duplex cradle frame with a 43 mm inverted fully adjustable telescopic fork on the front, offering 120 mm of travel and an adjustable shock absorber on the rear that provided 110 mm of travel.

As for performance, the 2005 Moto Guzzi Griso 1100 was powered by a 1,064cc four-stroke air-cooled two-cylinder engine with a fuel injection system in charge, boasting 86 hp at 7,800 rpm and 85 Nm (63 lb-ft) torque at 6,000 rpm.
