The 2004 MY Laverda SFC 1000 was the last model to be produced before the Laverda company was absorbed by Piaggio and the Laverda production line has been ceased. It is also one of the most powerful machines produced by Laverda, thanks to its liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 998cc, V-twin powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission, with a claimed power output of 110 horsepower and 105 Nm of torque. Race-inspired parts such as the 43 mm Ohlins titanium nitride coated upside-down fork, the Ohlins Racing hydraulic monoshock in the rear and the Brembo braking system make this one of the most sought after machines in Laverda history.
