In 2018, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer released the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R ABS, a motorcycle developed with feedback from the World Superbike Championship-winning Kawasaki Racing Team.

The 2018 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R ABS and the standard model were available in Metallic Matte Fusion Silver with Metallic Flat Spark Black livery, but also in Lime Green with Ebony and Metallic Graphite Gray, which was the Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) inspired color and graphics package.

The bike featured the Sports Kawasaki Traction Control (S-KTRC) system that used a complex analysis, which calculated when traction conditions were about to become unfavorable and acted to maintain optimal traction with enhanced acceleration.

The ram air intake duct was positioned close to the front of the bike for optimum efficiency, with a large capacity 10-liter airbox that boosted the engine response and low-mid range power for enhanced racetrack acceleration.

The 2018 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R ABS featured an upper cowl that resembled the World Superbike machine, with a design that reduced drag and provided optimum wind deflection and strategically-placed vents that prevented negative pressure in the cockpit.

In the power department, the bike took its soul from a 998cc four-stroke four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivered an output power of 200 hp with a peak at 13,000 rpm and 114 Nm (84 lb-ft) of torque available at 11,500 rpm.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is a sports motorcycle part of the Ninja series. It debuted in 2004 as a replacement model for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-9R. The bike was updated and revised over the years, combining an ultra-narrow chassis, low weight, and radial brakes.

In 2017, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer made a homologation special machine available under the ZX-10RR designation. It featured a modified cylinder head and was manufactured in only 500 units.

It had optional race-kit parts like high lift cams, a DLC-coated valve train, a beefed-up crankcase, a bi-directional quick-shifter, and seven-spoke forged aluminum Marchesini wheels.

In 2018, the maker released another homologation special run of the Ducati ZX-10RR. It was also made in 500 units and featured a redesigned engine with finger cam followers, allowing for higher revs and more power. In 2019, the bike was used by Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam.

Visually, the bike packed standard features, such as a full fairing with two headlights, a small windscreen, a single seat, a single exhaust system mounted on the right side, and lightweight seven-spoke forged aluminum wheels.

As for the power figures, the 2018 Kawasaki ZX-10RR had its soul brought to life by a 998cc four-stroke four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivered an output power of 200 hp at 13,000 rpm and 114 Nm (84 lb-ft) torque at 11,500 rpm.
