The 617cc v-twin engine is not fuel-injected, and was tweaked for some extra power. This Mule also sports a locking rear differential and a tilting cargo bed for easier unloading.
The Kawasaki Automatic Power-Drive System takes care of the transmission. The front suspension is independent, while the rear on ia semi-independent, with a De Dion axle with leaf springs and shocks. For 2009, the bodywork got a more aggressive, truck-like design.
