HARLEY-DAVIDSON CVO Road King (2013-2014) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2013, the American motorcycle manufacturer launched the Harley-Davidson CVO Road King, a factory-made custom touring machine loaded with modern technology in a classic-looking bodywork adorned with touring accessories.

The 2013 CVO Road King was delivered with three special paint schemes, Burgundy Blaze with Hot Fusion Graphics, Crushed Sapphire with Cold Fusion Graphics, and 110th Anniversary Edition Diamond Dust.

In addition to the unique color scheme, the 2013 touring motorcycle also featured a four-speaker audio system with a 200-watt amplifier and an Apple iPod interface controlled from a handlebar switch.

For appearance, the bike featured a round headlight with a chromed housing, a large fender on the front, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a two-piece dual seat with a passenger backrest, a dual exhaust system with a muffler on each side, and hard side-mounted panniers for extra storage.

The massive touring machine was fitted with a 1,800cc four-stroke air-cooled Twin Cam 110 engine, fed through an Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) system, providing excellent power delivery and 160 Nm (118 lb-ft) torque with a peak force at 3,750 rpm.

In the braking department, the 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Road King was fitted with a triple-disc Brembo braking system, two 300 mm discs on the front and one 300 mm disc on the rear, all engaged by four-piston calipers.
