The Harley-Davidson CVO was a line of factory-made custom machines introduced by the maker in 1999. The bikes were fitted with a larger displacement engine, Screamin' Eagle branding parts, hand-painted pinstripes, ostrich leather, and electronic accessories like a GPS navigation system and iPod music player.

In 2008, Harley-Davidson launched the CVO Road King, and as its name says, it actually was a King of the road, with its massive appearance, touring accessories, and H-D's largest displacement engine ever produced.

The 2008 Harley-Davidson CVO Road King was a classic-looking touring machine with modern technology on board. The round headlight, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, massive front fender, hardtail design, and medium-sized windscreen gave the bike's classic appearance.

The bike was built on a steel frame, fitted on the front with a 41 mm telescopic fork. On the rear, the bike features an air-adjustable shock absorber that creates a hardtail appearance with excellent suspension and handling capabilities.

As for the stopping power, the massive touring machine packed two 300 mm discs with four-piston calipers on the front wheel and a single 300 mm disc with a four-piston caliper on the rear wheel, providing outstanding braking performance.

In the performance department, the 2008 Harley-Davidson CVO Road King had its heartbeat set by a 1,800cc air-cooled Screamin' Eagle Twin Cam engine with a fuel injection system as standard, offering excellent throttle response and 156 Nm (115 lb-ft) torque at 3,000 rpm.

The bike was for sale in 2023, with a price ranging between $11,000 to $13,000, depending on condition and countered miles.
