The 1999 MY Gas Gas Pampera 250 has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 249cc, single cylinder powerhouse that was paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, and can reach a maximum power output of 20 horsepower and 19 Nm of torque.

Also, it has been fitted with a Marzocchi telescopic front fork coupled to a monoshock with progressive linkage in the rear, laced wheels with off-road tires mounted on them, front and rear disc brakes, a single seat, a small headlight and analogue instrumentation dials.
