The 2005 MY Gas Gas EC 450 FSE boasts a maximum power output of 50 horsepower and 49 Nm of torque from its liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, four-stroke, 449cc, single cylinder powerhouse that mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive.
In addition, it comes with features such as a 45mm Marzocchi upside-down telescopic front fork, an Ohlins monoshock with a progressive linkage in the rear, a deltabox-type cromoly frame with an aluminium swingarm, front and rear disc brakes with Nissin calipers, laced wheels with off-road tires mounted on them, wide handlebars, a race-inspired livery and an under-seat mounted exhaust system.
