The 2011 MY Gas Gas EC 450 comes with a race-inspired livery, wide handlebars, laced wheels with off-road tires mounted on them, an under-seat exhaust system, a single seat, a deltabox-type cromoly frame with an aluminium swingarm, a digital instrument cluster, and a 45mm Marzocchi upside-down telescopic fork coupled to an Ohlins monoshock with a progressive linkage as a rear suspension.
In the engine department it is powered by a four-stroke, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, 449cc, single cylinder powerplant mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, that can produce a claimed 50 horsepower and 49 Nm of torque.
