GAS GAS EC 250 (2001-2002)

The Spanish brand Gas Gas has launched yet another embodiment of its EC 250 model, a middle-class off-road machine that addresses a wide category of riders, from novice and young riders to the more experienced ones who prefer a lighter and more agile machine. It sports a two-stroke, liquid-cooled, 249cc, single cylinder lump that was mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, and can produce 50 horsepower and 46 Nm of torque.

In addition, it has standard features such as a race-inspired livery, laced wheels with knobby tires mounted on them, a deltabox-type chromoly frame with an aluminium swingarm, front and rear disc brakes, and a 45mm Marzocchi telescopic front fork coupled to a race-grade Ohlins rear monoshock with progressive linkage.
