The Ducati Hypermotard is a motorcycle first seen at the 2005 EICMA Trade Show in Milan. The Hypermotard, designed by Pierre Terblanche, was awarded “Best of Show” at EICMA, winning other awards ever since. In 2008, the Hypermotard 1100 S motorcycle won the 1200 Pro Class Division of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. It was the first Hypermotard to win such an international competition, and the first Ducati bike to win the Pikes Peak since the start of the race in 1916.

In 2012, Ducati unveiled the 2013 Hypermotard lineup that received countless updates for the frame, body, suspension, exhaust, electronics, and ergonomics.

The 2013 Ducati Hyperstrada takes its muscles from the 821cc Testastretta Desmodromic liquid-cooled engine that delivers to the rear wheel 110 hp of power at 9.250 rpm and 89 Nm (66 lb-ft) of torque at 7,750 rpm.

For suspension, the 2013 model has a 43mm USD fork on the front and a progressive linkage with adjustable spring preload and rebound damping monoshock on the rear.

For braking purposes, the model uses two 320 mm semi-floating discs on the front and a 245 mm disc on the rear.

The model comes with Pirelli Scorpion Trail tires that are used on the 10-spoke 17-inch aluminum wheels.

In 2022, the Hyperstrada was for sale starting from $7,000.
