The 2007 MY Ducati 999S boasts a maximum power output of 143 horsepower and 112 Nm of torque from its air-cooled, four-stroke, 999cc, 90-degree V-Twin desmodromic engine that was mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive and a dry clutch.

In addition, it comes with an Ohlins suspension package, composed of a TiN-coated, fully-adjustable upside-down fork and an adjustable monoshock with a progressive linkage in the rear, a digital instrumentation display with an analogue tachometer, cast-aluminium wheels, a two-piece dual seat and dual front disc brakes with Brembo calipers coupled to a single disc brake in the rear.
