Segment: ATV/Quad
Production years: 2009, 2010
The 2009 Can-Am Outlander 800R XT brings in the tri-mode Dynamic Power Steering system, helping the riders get better directional control of the ATV and sparing them of the fatigue which usually installs after many hours spent aboard a quad. With three selectable assistance levels, the DPS also helps boosting the confidence of less experienced riders in tight situations or when on rocky terrain.
The XT package also brings lighter cast aluminium wheels shod with Carlisle ACT tires, front and rear bumpers, a powerful winch with a wired remote control and hand protectors for the rider, all intended to provide a better response to the off-road conditions which in many cases are less friendly. And with extended luggage capacity, there plenty of room for some extra fuel aboard the 2009 Can-Am Outlander 800R XT, for longer off-road explorations.
