The 2016 MY BMW R 1200 GS has, at its heart, an air-cooled, four-stroke, 1170cc, boxer twin cylinder powerplant paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can reach a maximum power output of 125 horsepower and 125 Nm of torque.
