The 2008 MY Bimota DB5S Borsalino Limited Edition has been created to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Italian hat manufacturer Borsalino, a brand that is renowned worldwide for its Fedora hats. The internal parts of this machine are identical to the base DB5, but when it comes to the visual aspect, the Italian designers have renounced the cheerful, bright colors of the stock model for a Matte Black finish. Its cambelt covers, the tip of the belly pan and other parts have been replaced with carbon-fiber ones. Other distinguishing features for this machine would be the Borsalino logo on the fairing panels and the anodized gold finish on the Ohlins forks, the Marchesini wheels and the Brembo brakes.
