The Big Bear Choppers Merc Softail has been designed as a more comfortable version of the Merc Rigid model, for riders who want the aggressive design of the Merc, but still want a rear suspension for a more comfortable stroll. The defining features of this chopper are the long reaching springer front end, the radius dual downtube frame, a bold 48 degree neck rake, and wire-spoked wheels.

In the tech/engine department, it shares its engine with the Rigid version, and sports a 1819cc, BBC-S&S V111 Carb Evolution powerhouse mated to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce 116 horsepower and 156 Nm of torque.

The Big Bear Choppers Merc Rigid boasts one of the most eccentric designs from the American brand. It's visuals are dominated by its 20” over stock springer frontend, the radial dual downtube frame, wire-spoked wheels, a curvaceous fuel tank and the outlandish rear fender. This chopper is addressed to the more adventurous among BBC fans.
