ARIEL ACE (2014-2015) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Ariel ACE is a naked sports motorcycle manufactured by the British Ariel Motor Company in Crewkerne, England. The bike was powered by a 1,200cc V4 engine borrowed from the Honda VFR1200 model.

The bike had two different front suspensions, like the conventional upside-down telescopic fork or Ariel's girder fork. In contrast, the rear suspension was handled by a single shock with a single-sided swingarm.

Also, the bikes came from the factory with various options. The riders upgraded them over time with optional features, such as front and rear suspensions, bodywork, handlebar, exhaust, wheels, seat, footpegs, fuel tank size, color, and finishes.

In 2014, the British motorcycle manufacturer launched the Ariel ACE, a naked machine fitted with standard features, like a small round headlight, a telescopic or girder fork, a single seat, a single-sided swingarm, a single muffler mounted on the right-hand side, and five or seven-spoke alloy wheels.

In the performance department, the 2014 Ariel ACE had installed a 1,237cc four-stroke liquid-cooled V4 engine underneath its fuel tank, delivering an output power of 173 hp at 10,000 rpm and 129 Nm (95 lb-ft) torque at 8,750 rpm.

The power produced by the engine was handled by a six-speed auto, sport, or manual transmission that sent it to the rear axle via a final shaft drive, spinning the wheel to a top speed of 266 kph (165 mph).
