APRILIA SR Max 300 (2011-2012) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2011, the Italian motorcycle maker released the Aprilia SR Max 300, a 300cc scooter made by the maker to fit the taste of various riders searching for an agile yet gritty machine with a design inspired by Noale's RSV4 Superbike.

The 2011 Aprilia SR Max 300 came in the same shape and form as the previous model, packing the same technical, visual, and performance specifications without any significant modifications whatsoever.

Visually, the scooter had standard fittings, such as a body covered with fairings, a dual headlight system, a medium-sized windscreen, a one-piece dual seat with passenger grab rails, a single exhaust system with a silencer mounted on the right-hand side, and five-spoke alloy wheels.

In the performance department, the 2011 Aprilia SR Max 300 had installed a 278cc four-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine mounted at its core, delivering 22 hp with a peak force at 7,500 rpm and 23 Nm (17 lb-ft) torque at 6,000 rpm.

For suspension, the scooter packed a 35 mm hydraulic telescopic fork on the front and two preload-adjustable shock absorbers mounted on the rear, providing optimum suspension performance and handling.

As for the stopping power, the scooter's wheels were fitted with a 260 mm brake disc mounted on the front and a 240 mm brake disc mounted on the rear, offering optimum braking performance.
