The brakes are an interesting feature on the Shiver. With radial callipers that were first introduced in this model, the discs received a new wave design that, aside from the aesthetic impact, make the brakes more efficient and responsive.
The ride-by-wire is also available as standard on the two-wheeler, with three easy-to-select settings, which can be activated even while moving, but with the throttle down. The choices for the rider are: sport, which reveals the Italian superbike DNA this bike is infused with, touring - for more relaxed engine response and smooth power delivery, or rain, for when the going gets tough and extra help is needed to keep the bike on the tarmac.
For more safety-oriented European customers, the Shiver is available for purchase with standard ABS.
