The 2006 MY Aprilia Scarabeo 500 is a scooter suitable for those riders who want motorcycle-like performance combined with the ease of use only scooter can offer, making for an excellent daily commuter, as well as an excellent weekend two-wheeler for strolls through the countryside. It sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 460cc, single cylinder engine paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and can produce a claimed 39 horsepower and 41 Nm of torque.
Standard features include flagship-like ergonomics, improved wind protection, a rear trunk, an under-seat storage compartment, dual front disc brakes, and lightweight, cast-aluminium wheels.
