The 2003 MY Aprilia Scarabeo 500 sports a liquid-cooled, 460cc, single cylinder powerhouse paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and can produce 39 horsepower and 41 Nm of torque. This machine is mainly addressed to the more nostalgic among Aprilia fans, but who still want a powerful scooter, capable of tackling longer hauls.
Standard features include an under-seat storage compartment, a spacious dual seat with lumbar support for the rider and a passenger backrest, a rear trunk, a large windscreen, large, lightweight, 16", cast-aluminium wheels, a front telescopic fork, and dual adjustable shocks as a rear suspension.
