The Aprilia RSV4 was a super bike manufactured by Aprilia in 2009 as a successor model to the Aprilia RSV 1000 R and produced until the present (2023). It was available in RSV4 Factory and RSV4 R limited edition versions.

In 2012, the Italian motorcycle maker launched the Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC, one of the hottest and fastest bikes on the planet. It came in 2012 with several visual and technical improvements, enhancing its overall capabilities.

The bike came with new colors, a revised engine management system, and a tuned Aprilia Performance Ride Control (APRC) package that offered eight-level traction control, launch control, quick-shift, and wheelie control.

In addition, other changes included an improved lubrication system for the engine, closer-spaced gears for better acceleration, and a new, lighter exhaust system with an advanced butterfly valve to match the bike's ride-by-wire system.

Under the hood, the 2012 Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC had installed a 999cc four-stroke V-4 liquid-cooled engine with two injectors per cylinder, boasting 180 hp with a peak force at 12,500 rpm and 115 Nm (85 lb-ft) torque at 10,000 rpm.

The bike's power was redirected to a six-speed cassette-type gearbox with a wet multi-plate clutch and a mechanical slipper system, sending it to the rear wheel via a final chain drive, launching the motorcycle to a maximum speed of 291 kph (181 mph).
