APRILIA RSV 1000 R Factory (2004-2005) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Aprilia RSV 1000 R was a sports motorcycle made by Aprilia in 2004 as a replacement model for the RSV Mille and continued production until 2010, when it was replaced by the Aprilia RSV4. It was available in three versions: the RSV 1000 R standard version, the higher-spec RSV 1000 Factory, and the limited edition RSV 1000 R Nera.

In 2004, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Aprilia RSV 1000 R, a sports motorcycle in its first year of production that replaced the RSV Mille from 1998 to 2003. Besides the new name, the bike also received a new style.

The 2004 RSV 1000R Factory was the higher-spec version of the range, fitted with a fully adjustable Ohlins rear monoshock and adjustable Ohlins steering damper, carbon fiber elements, blue anodized forged aluminum wheels, and black or gold-finished frame.

In the visual department, the sports machine had standard features, such as a full fairing with dual headlights, a windscreen, a single seat, a two-into-two exhaust system with a muffler mounted on each side, and 12-spoke forged aluminum wheels.

As for the power figures, the 2004 Aprilia RSV 1000 R Factory had installed a 998cc four-stroke liquid-cooled V-twin engine underneath its fuel tank, delivering 139 hp at 9,500 rpm and 107 Nm (79 lb-ft) torque at 7,500 rpm.
